Welcome to Our Blog!

After 15 seasons of delighting Saturday morning shoppers, Delray’s GreenMarket now has a place to tell its stories. We’ve launched this blog for you—our friends and fans—to keep you informed about new items, new vendors, upcoming events, and more.

The Delray GreenMarket

GreenMarket Basics

If you’re new to the Delray GreenMarket, here are the basics:

  • Location: SE 4th Avenue, just south of Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach
  • Open every Saturday from late October to mid-May, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Number of vendors: about 40
  • We’re a project of The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency

 Savor the Local Flavor

There’s nothing like the taste of a ripe tomato, strawberry, or green bean grown right here in Palm Beach County. At the GreenMarket you’ll find fresh-picked fruit and vegetables; locally produced baked goods, cheeses, eggs, and sauces; a variety of prepared foods (crab cakes, anyone?); and non-food items such as fresh flowers, plants, and homemade soap.

Of course, the “local flavor” extends beyond the merchandise. You get to meet the vendors, learn about local businesses and nonprofits, and reconnect with neighbors and friends as you enjoy live music by local musicians. Afterward, the fabulous boutiques and restaurants of downtown Delray are yours to explore.

Again, welcome to our blog! Bookmark this site and come back often.

  1. I have visited this wonderful market every time I am in Delray. It is the place to be on a Saturday morning. Beautiful food, music, flowers. It gets the day going. I have written about it on http://www.aboutmybeaches.com, just in case some of your readers are interested. Thanks and keep up the good work. Gloria
